Why Raw?

So let’s take a look at the first and probably the best reason of all: Improving your dog’s health. Dogs are carnivores, and the canine species have existed long before processed dog food was created, Dogs are naturally inclined to eat meat. They are however opportunists, and will scavenge for other food items if there is no meat available, but the dog’s tendency is to first look for meat.

Raw meat is packed full of vitamins, minerals and enzymes. That are easily digested by our furry companions. Leaving the ingredients raw as nature intended for our dogs and cats to eat them provides full access to these nutrients.

Raw is completely free from Cereals, gluten, artificial preservatives and colourings, things they don't need like BHA, BHT, ethoxyquin and tartrazine. These are known to cause a whole load of health problems and even behaviour changes.

Dogs eating a raw diet often enjoy a healthier life, fewer food allergies to name just one.

Aside from allergies, another thing that’s going to improve, is your dog’s odour and their general appearance. Dog owners who have switched their pets to a raw diet frequently report that their dogs have lost their “doggy breath” and smell better in general. Additionally, their dogs enjoy a shinier coat, one that is smoother and oil-free. Beneath the fur, Many dog owner's report a calmer, more relaxed and content dog on a raw diet.

Much smaller stool is also a great benefit. This is because there are no fillers such as potato, rice etc... that dog’s can't digest very well, dogs fed predominantly on raw food have firm, small stool, with much less smell. The firmer stool will also help with emptying anal sacs meaning less or no trips to the vet or the groomer.

I've switched 4 of my own dogs to a Raw diet over the years. I've seen these benefits with my own eyes and I would NEVER feed anything else!
